What is a Foot Care Nurse (FCN)?
A Foot Care Nurse is a nurse that has received further training and education in caring for your feet. We specialize in providing in-depth nursing assessments to your feet and lower limbs, provide nail and callus care to those requiring routine maintenance, as well as to those with more complex needs. We can assist with the complex needs of diabetics, the care of corns, and guide clients through the treatment of fungal concerns.
Why is it important to receive Foot Care Services?
Our feet tend to be one of the last things on our mind, they are the furthest thing away! But boy do they do a lot of important work for us. They need to transport us everywhere, every day, carrying the weight of our bodies for us. This can mean that they can get a little beat up! Foot Care is so important for everyone.
